BUILDING A SCIENCE COMMUNITY
Leading community science education through impactful programs and diverse learning opportunities to effectively engage people of all ages and backgrounds, despite their economic circumstances or geographic location

we are here for nevada
As researchers and educators passionate about our careers in paleontology in the state of Nevada, we envisioned the Nevada Science Center fun, engaging science topics to communities across the state. As a new nonprofit, we are committed to create a community-based science center to share our love of the state and the natural sciences.

Cretaceous to Early Cenozoic
Spanning the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary, 65 million years ago, a large shallow lake in east central Nevada sat at almost 9,000 feet elevation.

Jurassic Tracks of Southern Nevada
Our team has been a part of the discovery and documentation of dinosaur tracks from the various red rocks of southern Nevada.

Triassic Tracks at Lake Mead
